About the Role:
 
The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas is looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer for a dynamic team developing and supporting mission critical national applications for the Credit Risk Management business line. In the role of Automation Test Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining test automation of complex applications. You will have demonstrated success working closely with business users and the software development team. Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services. Works independently, with minimal guidance to solve moderate to complex problems.
 
You Will:
  • Work closely with the business and technical resources to plan, complete testing in support of new or existing applications.
  • Define automated and manual test criteria and goals based on business requirements. Develop test plans, cases and scripts to ensure that the application works as designed.
  • Execute automated and manual testing using best practices and tools. Analyze, document and reports test results.
  • Ensure the quality of the software.
  • Identify, analyze and raise risks early in projects with a broader business and technical perspective.
  • Analyze, diagnose and solve application, technical and data issues of advanced complexity on the latest technologies.
  • Perform operational support, maintenance and system configuration
  • Support and resolve customer requests and incident management
  • Provide Knowledge Management and Operational improvements
  • Perform adhoc SQL queries by building reports and dashboards
 
You Have:
  • Technical support experience; Java programming, SQL queries, and some Cloud knowledge.
  • Experience with Agile methodology and testing in the Cloud.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of test methodologies, practices and tools.
  • Operations experience; Web application support and maintenance
  • Testing experience; Web and data application
  • Other skills: problem solving, analysis, excellent communication skills.
  • Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for any of the above requirements.
