About the Role:
 
We are looking for a Business Analyst who possesses the business acumen, technical knowledge and experience to provide product development lifecycle services in an Agile environment. The Business Analyst will be responsible for requirement management, business user interviews, information collection, data analysis, business requirement documentation, and use cases for one or more product/technology solutions.
 
You Will:
  • Drive the collection and documentation of requirements to develop, enhance, and implement product and technology solutions for business users.
  • Interview business stakeholders to interpret business requirements; identify and resolve gaps or conflicts in information collected.
  • In collaboration with the Product Manager and Product Owner, assist with solution design and help build consensus on the scope of the product and brainstorm solutions to stated and unstated business needs and problems.
  • Perform data collection and in-depth analysis to discover opportunities and resolve issues.
  • Manage several simultaneous requirements gathering topics at once, including tracking all feedback and driving the group towards consensus to meet development deadlines.
 
You Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science, or any other related business field.
  • Professional experience that includes at least 2 or more years involved in the product development lifecycle of one or more business software/technology products.
  • Advanced analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills - ability to communicate effectively, formally and informally, written and verbally, to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent ability to work with others to achieve a common goal, resolve conflicts, and manage cross-functional and external relationships.
  • Experience in agile software development methodologies with a preference towards experience in the Scaled Agile Framework.
  • Certified Business Analysis Professionals (CBAP) is a plus.
  • Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for any of the above requirements.

Notes:
This position may be filled at various levels based on candidate's qualifications as determined by the department.
 
This role allows for the employee to work in a hybrid manner with some work conducted onsite at the Federal Reserve work location and some work conducted remotely. For this specific role 4 days out of the week can be conducted remotely. Specific schedule details will be discussed during the recruitment process.
 
In addition, all candidates must undergo an enhanced background check and comply with all applicable information handling rules, and all non-U.S. citizens must sign a declaration of intent to become a U.S. citizen and pursue a path to citizenship.
