Salesforce Developer

Position Description
CGI is seeking a Salesforce Developer to join a project team which is leading a business-critical initiative to build and integrate a CGI solution on Community Cloud as part of the client implementation.

Contribute to the design of a scalable and flexible architecture on which to build the larger Salesforce ecosystem and will be responsible for coordinating with internal business and IT stakeholders to contribute to the creation of designs in adherence with the organization's Salesforce strategy. schedule.

Your future duties and responsibilities
  • Map business goals to the Salesforce ecosystem and deliver a plan for alignment across marketing and sales teams
  • Evaluate and undertake impact analysis on major design options and assess associated risks. Ensure that the system designs balance function, service quality, security, and system management requirements
  • Communicate with project managers, business users/leaders and other developers to design cohesive project strategies and ensure effective collaboration throughout all phases of development, testing and deployment
  • Partner with the development scrum teams and other IT groups to optimize the end-to-end process including monitoring, deployment, and production support
  • Produce tangible deliverables (requirements specifications, design deliverables, status reports, project plans)
  • Configure Salesforce orgs via declarative tools, including workflows, process builders, reports, dashboards, etc.
  • Participate in the application life cycle from design to development, testing, deployment and support of Salesforce application with integration layer
  • Take ownership of technical aspects of Salesforce.com, including data migrations, data quality, systems integrations, 3rd party applications, AppExchange products, and custom code
  • Responsible for developing and supporting customized and standard solutions that support business requirements and drive key business decisions
  • Provide technical leadership, setting best practices including integration and application development, deployment, testing (unit and systems), and iterative refinement
  • Seek out ways to utilize SFDC to improve processes and productivity, and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace
  • Define, communicate, and manage a change management (release) process to develop and implement new applications/code and updates to existing applications/code

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Salesforce Developer with 5 years of experience with strong Community Cloud experience
  • Candidate should have working experience as Salesforce developer providing customization, development, enhancement and support for Saleforce.com CRM Applications
  • Must have at least 3-5 Years of SFDC development experience (Certified Salesforce.com Developer Preferred)
  • Solid understanding of and detailed experience with Salesforce.com architecture and API
  • Experience integrating Salesforce solutions with external solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
  • Detailed experience writing Visualforce and Apex classes and triggers, Queueable apex
  • Should have experience in flows, process builders
  • Must have hands on experience on Lightning web components
  • Experience with Community Cloud or Service Cloud
  • Experience using Salesforce data tools
  • Strong understanding of relational databases
  • Demonstrative success with multiple Salesforce.com integration projects
  • Experience integrating Salesforce.com with other applications via real-time, batch, sync/async
  • Experience with scripted data loader, web services, cloud or on-premise middleware and other enterprise integrating technologies
  • Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering, creating/deploying solutions to end users
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and delivery teams
  • Working knowledge of Scrum Agile
  • Experience with CI/CD for Salesforce development

  • Experience in one or more multi-org Salesforce implementations
  • Salesforce Community Cloud Consultant Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant Salesforce Platform Developer
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce integration methods and concepts
  • Working knowledge of modern cloud solution architectures based on clouds like AWS, Azure

Minimum Education Required: Bachelor's Degree

Est. Salary Range (Colorado Only): $95,000-$160,000*
