About the Team

The Business Technology Go-To-Market Qualify team works in closely with our business partners to drive growth and revenue goals for Workday and deliver outstanding Customer and employee experiences. The team is responsible for developing and supporting innovative architecture-led solutions for our Marketing, Sales, Services, Customer Support & Legal business functions with Salesforce being the primary platform alongside other innovative platforms such as SnapLogic for Integrations, Conga/Apttus for CPQ, CLM, AWS as PaaS, Coveo Search Platform, OKTA for SSO and others.

About the Role

As a member of the Go-To-Market Qualify team, the Salesforce Developer is responsible for partnering with Marketing business partners and Product Managers to craft and develop innovative Salesforce.com solutions.

The Salesforce Developer will own and develop line of business and enterprise solutions for the Marketing product team. You will translate business requirements into technology solutions and will work closely with cross-functional partners and development teams to deliver. An ideal candidate has a background in sales and marketing, proven success in a Salesforce developer role, and a demonstrable ability to develop solutions to complex business problems.

Perform development activities for Salesforce and Marketo. Use personal experiences to deliver technical solutions on the Salesforce.com platform that satisfy unique business requirements.
Ask clarifying questions to ensure development of efficient solutions.
Communicate mapping of solutions to original business requirements
Write test class code coverage and implement unit tests.
Continuously expand your Salesforce knowledge and apply new capabilities and features to meet business needs.
Coach and mentor peers and emerging members of the team.
Participating in code reviews to ensure quality.
Contribute to and define development standards.

About You

Basic Qualifications

2-5 years of application design and development experience.
1-2 years of Salesforce development and customizations with (Sales cloud).
Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications and analytical platforms.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
4-year degree

Other Qualifications

Attention to detail with the ability to analyze and solve complex problems as well as provide documentation, guidance and instruction to users.
Demonstrated ability to learn and embrace new technologies, applications, and solutions.
Certified Salesforce.com Developer.
Degree in Computer Science preferred
LeanData experience is preferred but not required
Python experience is a preferred but not required
Marketo experience preferred but not required
