Position Overview:
Our Senior Software Engineers are responsible for participating in all aspects of the software development life cycle from requirement gathering through user acceptance testing and implementation. In addition, this position will participate in the establishment and enforcement of programming patterns and standards, as well as provide mentorship to more junior Developers.
What you’ll be doing:
This role is an integral member of a team of software engineers, quality assurance analysts, and other professionals that deliver high-quality software for direct use by our customers, using Agile methodologies. The software that this engineer will develop enables our customers to view their asset contract coverage, request service from Park Place Technologies, and a variety of other self-service activities to help maximize their data center uptime.
In this role, a Senior Software Engineer will build and maintain software within the full-stack of cloud-native solutions using C# in .NET 6/Core 3.1 and JavaScript in Angular. The Senior Software Engineer will get to use modern tools and technologies, such as API Management, Application Insights, Azure Functions, Azure Pipelines with CI/CD, Azure SQL, Cognitive Search, Cosmos DB, Event Hub, Notifications Hub, Service Bus, and more. We use best-practice development strategies, such as adherence to SOLID principles, coverage of core modules with comprehensive unit testing, and collaboration with quality assurance analysts to verify functionality with both automated and manual testing.
